Directions for measuring

While the person to be measured is seated with socks on and knees crossed, measure foot in dangling position (no weight on foot). With tape drawn, medium snug, measure completely around the foot according to these diagrams with a soft lead pencil, no ink pen. When measuring, be careful that the tape crosses over joints as indicated by the dots. These dots indicate exactly where the joints are on the feet and by carefully measuring exactly as indicated. By using these guides you can reasonably be assured that you will get good measurements and a good fit.
Please do not use ink pen, use standard soft pencil to outline with.
When outlining, hold pencil as illustrated.

Please use 2 new sheets of paper, one for each foot as shown, to outline and to get a good measurement.
Outlining of the feet should be done while seated and with boot type socks on and with the weight evenly distrbuted on both feet. Draw each outline carefully, holding pencil straight up and down at all times as illustrated. Use standard size soft lead pencil so markings will be clear and legible. Do not use INK.
